Implied nude, not partial nude. Nudity is an absolute state, its kind of like trying to be "almost pregenant" either you are or you aren't.

sorry for a late (really late comment to this comment of yours) but you stated that "Partial nudity" doesn't really exist, saying that "Nudity is an absolute state" and that you can't be partially.

I'm sorry but how did you think that was evidence exactly? your ability to quorte other people who happen to be wrong, doesn't change your own incorrect statement into a correct one. Nudity is a complete state, one cannot be objectively "partially nude".

By your logic the following are also partial nudity create-illusions.deviantart.co… because I can see her knees. The fact is that partial nudity is not a real thing, its got no objective standard & is nothing more than a personal claim of "wow, she's getting dangerously close to revealing some sexy fun time areas that I think should be covered due to the societal background I was raised in."

Exactly. So to the Amish partial nudity is a bare ankle, to the Islamic partial nudity is visible anything on women & to the orthodoxy jewish partial nudity is being able to see a womans real hair on her head.... Partial Nudity is not a thing, its a thing that exists only in the minds of people & has nothing to do with how dressed people actually are.

If that makes your patents feel uncomfortable, I'd take them to pretty much an classical art gallery or museum... Because implied nudity is not something that only just occurred to artists since the advent of photography.

I've just checked the FAQ and it seems this doesn't qualify for the Mature Content Tag, because nudity was defined by DeviantART staff as exposed genitalia. In fact you can no longer report this deviation as needing the tag for nudity because it has already been reviewed by them and deemed safe.

Hi Michael. At first sight, what you have said here seemed nuts.  But, having now looked this up, you are exactly correct (as you obviously know .  FAQ #220 & FAQ #554 both contain this definition.

It seems that sunfloweryyy is offered no protection.  DA's policies must be well argued and developed by now, but I reckon they have got this wrong.
