thanks, its done with a tremendous amount of trial and error, i cant tell you how much Ive mis smudge a liquid paper onto a black canvas, then repainted it with black again to just to get the desired smudge haze.
the stars themselves are easy though! just apply whiteout liquids onto any card ( i use my discarded credit card) then just flick the edge of that card onto the black areas to get those tiny random stars
