Hi, these statues are outside of Sannat Church in Gozo. The weathering on them is harming them so much and within a few years time they will be destroyed! It's really a shame!!

that's always the problem with malta and i guess even more so with gozo.. although i do have to say it is a wonder how they could have left their church statues to deteriorate in such a state.. probably they are petitioning for new ones haha

Well, to say the truth, I don't know the story behind how these statues finished out there, but you are right this is something which is very common to happen here! Anyway, at least we will have a record of them on film, when they deteriorate!! Take care my friend.
