It looks like one of those desperate charges where a blazing Anduril led the drive to clear a foothold gained by the Isengarders. Great action! The composition is interesting, sort of like a neo-classical or romantic era battle scene done with an older style of art.Β

He certainly looks like a man keeping a careful eye on his options for an Exit, should the fight go as badly for his company as one might anticipate from the presence of two such puissant enemies).
