Description This is a piece from my latest uni project. It's an illustration for a newspaper/magazine article about deforestation for WWF. Or something to that effect.
I think the idea behind it is pretty clear so I won't bother with an explanation.

Did you see where the UK is trying to avoid burning coal... by burning biomass, otherwise once known as trees?
And it contributes even more CO2, than using the coal, because it has to be shipped overseas from other countries. Use of biomass / trees in the UK has gone up 400%

Germany is also cutting down an old-growth forest which has stood for 12,000 years, to get to the dirtiest coal there is- all because they suddenly became afraid of nuclear power.

Denmark, a year or two back, cut down 20 square miles of virgin forest... to build a wind-power complex.

So yes, I can see your point here.
