**I'm not planning on uploading much of my work here anymore, but I thought I'd update with some more recent photos during my downtime, imposed by my camera's flash burning out (which rendered my awesome diffuser setup useless). for more photos, check out my flickr at [link] **

While shooting the female Phidippus audax I've been keeping (for about two months now) she suddenly started moving her chelicerae very far apart and I could actually see what I'm guessing is her mouth...I'm going to upload this one a little larger than I normally do to allow you to check out the mouth in fullview (those of you who are my contacts, anyway).

I got so many good shots of her today it was hard to narrow it down, but I'm trying to keep from posting way too many photos!
