July 18th: Experimenting with Caran D'Ache Museum Aquarelle Pencils. Limited colours. This is a break from the flowers. Will resume with them next week!! All comments welcome!Related content

I really couldn't tell these were pencils. They look like watercolors. The trees are detailed, but blurred a little, and there's a wonderful contrast with the yellows sandwiched between the blues on the top and bottom. I also love the reeds at the bottom, and how the sun looks more like a ball of light than a geometric, unrealistic circle with rays. It's really wonderful.

Yeah they're water colour pencils I recommend you try some out. It's a lot of fun doodling something random.

Have you ever done 2 paintings at a time. You know like start one, allow inks to dry by staring another painting and switch back over to the initial painting by allowing the 2nd one to dry off etc. I'm not very patient either I'm always eager to finish

That's a good tip, but when I do one and then begin another, I'll never finish the 1 one, I don't know why it is so with me?! but anyway u r patient enough, and that's great cuz I want to enjoy your amazing artworks!!!

Anywho I like this style a lot. And the limited color scheme has its own charm to it.
