Finished but not sure if I like the background. It came out darker than most of my drawings. I'm still wondering if I should have left the background white? But in the photo it was dark behind her. I'm satisfied with her face and the rope is okay. What do ya think?Related content

this is lovely! i like that it's dark, because at this point in the movie lizzy's feeling quite upset. that scene in the movie is great in the way she broods, and is then so startled by charlotte. i think they do the scene better in the new version than in the book, just 'cause it makes it so climatic in a sense. good job with it. =]

thanks, I do not usually draw backgrounds and this was one of a challenge for me! Not that it was hard to draw but, should I or shouldn't I was the question!

lovely job! I love Pride and Prejudice!! brilliant book and great movie. the BBC one is best, but Keira still makes a good Elizabeth...she seems to like characters with that name. ha!

I think it looks great! The dark background was actually a pleasant surprise for me. I expected you to leave it lighter but immediately when I saw this I thought the darkness really adds something to this!

Hey thanks for your comments, I've been gone on vacation, I wasn't too sure about the background at first and now after staring at it I guess it looks okay! I like doing the face but not hands!

Things I notice:
1: eyes look better than before, but still somehow odd?
2: the Jaw line could maybe have been a bit more slanted?
3: thumbs+thumbnails are pudgy and a little odd.
Only that, background and robe I like a lot. Came out nice and crisp, just the way I like it haha
