"A-A-Ali-ix? *sniffle*"

Alix paused abruptly at the expression of shock and even...fear...that filled her little brother's face as she discarded the tape and now rather slippery rubber ball that had been used to cruelly gag him. Her own expression must have looked...monstruous. She could feel her muscles quivering with rage, as they had been since she had entered the cell unexpectedly and to her greatest horror found her baby brother ruthlessly bound and gagged, no doubt by a certain sick doctor, her teeth clenched the entire time as a bloodthirsty vow to rip the bastard into pieces suddenly became her number one priority. No doubt she was still wearing that expression and it certainly wasn't doing Arrew any favours. As he peered at her with tearful eyes, sniffling, she shook her head firmly and with a superhuman effort forced her features to soften.
"D-Don't worry. I'm...right here, Arrew. Oh great crows...when I get my talons on him..." She didn't bother to finish her threat (moreso for Arrew's sake) and instead pulled her dagger out its sheath, alternating between using that and her talons to cut through the ropes tightly tying the little boy's wings, hands behind his back and ankles crossed in a pair of rope cuffs. "I-I'm gonna get you out of here, I promise...it will all be over soon. You're being r-really brave..."
Arrew just nodded shakily and sat as still as possible to allow his older sister to untie him. His eyes glistened with tears, his face unusually pale, which emphasised the blood from the cut at his cheek, gash at his forehead and the bloody scrapes on his knees. He had been through an awful lot in one week, from falling down from the grand Sky City of Talos to being abducted by a horrible human doctor and kept as a test subject, subjected to needles of strange and painful chemicals in the process. The man terrified him, but he had cooperated as much as he could to avoid further consequences.
"Did...did that bast-I err mean, 'jerk' hurt you?" Alix quickly corrected her slip of the tongue, not wanting to teach her innocent sibling a 'new word'.
"...H-He did...*sniffle* I-I was so s-scared, Alix...and a-all this time since you d-disappeared...h-he had you...he had you and h-hurt you really b-bad...*sniffle*"
The girl smiled at him gently and reassuringly. "Yeah, but I escaped, Arrew. You don't need to worry about me, Lil bro. I...tried to find you as soon as I remembered...b-but you weren't there. I nearly had a heart attack looking for you...b-but for this to have happened..." She let the ropes fall limp around the boy and tried to hold back tears as he rubbed his wrists with a wince, "I-I failed you. I couldn't protect you...I...failed you as a big sister. I was meant to protect you!" Her eyes shone with tears as she spoke and she closed them tightly.
When she opened them a few seconds later, Arrew was approaching her, tears crawling down his cheeks, a little wobbly on his legs from being restrained for so long. He shook his head and then threw his arms out to hug her. Alix merely sank limply to her knees and wrapped her arms tightly around her baby brother as he fell onto his own knees, clinging to her like a limpet and fresh sobs shook his frail form, more tears streaming down his face-but not of terror: it was just pure relief...
"I-I love you, A-Alix *sniff* n-no matter Wh-what he d-did to you...you will a-always be my big brave s-sister to me..."
Alix couldn't hold back her tears then and they slowly slid down her cheeks, cleansing the blood from her earlier fighting with his guards from her face and slowly rubbed circles into the younger boy's back.
"L-Lil bro..." She sniffled-and then a smile of relief and happiness started to form upon her face, "I-I love you too...all the way to Talos and back a million times over...I promise you're safe now...and..." Her eyes flashed a scarlet red for a split second as a manic grin filled her face, "...I'm gonna make sure that wretched excuse of a human never hurts anyone ever again..."

Here we have a gift/request for my good friend Bloodmon featuring her brilliant arch OCs: Alix and her adorable smol sibling Arrew
A year ago when Alix visited the earth below her home city of Talos, she was abducted by an unsavoury scientist, my villainous Dr Voltate, who kept her as a prize subject and performed horrific experiments in her, including giving her a serum that resulted in her developing the mentality of a monstrous murderer at sudden unexpected intervals. After escaping she vowed to get revenge on the doctor, but rushing to Talos to return to her little brother and let him know she was safe, she found he was not there and returned to Earth to find him as he must have fallen through the clouds. The last thing she expected was to find him in the doctor's clutches...
But here we have her freeing her brother and the two tearfully reunite at last.
This took me...a lot longer than expected. I'm pleased with how the end design came out but it took quite a few attempts for Arrew and to get all the bodily proportions correct XD I tried to make him as adorable as I could (not sure if I succeeded but...XD) although I am happy with how Alix came out and now I have learned how to portray blood (evil chuckles). The mini Fic was just my interpretation of how the reunion would go but I really enjoyed writing it so Yep. I hope you like it, friendo!
