This is wonderful and I agree with GrannyOgg's choice of words, imaginative. Β I can not imagine how you did the fish. Β Are they fractals? Β If so, what software did you create them with?

Thanks! The fish aren't fractals, sadly. They are 3D models with fractal patterns imposed on them - no UV mesh work required. I have a detailed description of the technique on my blog (although I've improved bits of the technique now that I think of it).

Yeah, sorry. If I were good enough to make fish with a fractal program instead of a 3D modeller, that would be amazing. Incidentally, I am trying to make something like that possible; I'm developing a 3D fractal program. It's taking a little while, though.
