A dark grin grew on Vidar's face when Paine ended his sentence.
Somehow he grew fond of this guy who dared to come shake hands after the "little" fight Vidar caused on the veranda.
He tipped his hat with a small nodd "Well you live far from my home turf, mate, but you could pay a visit and join the White December trail
this winter, curious how a sheriff handles the snow" he smirked, "gonna wait for you with a new hat, promise".
Vidar gave a soft clap on Paine's shoulder as in sorry for the freakout (he'd just never rly apologize XD noo) and walked past him with Alexandro.
