Description
On June 29 1993, the norwegian ship Betula, that carried about 2000 tons of sulfuric acid, ran aground to the coasts of Mexico spilling all its contents into the sea. Twenty years later, only a part of the ship remains, the rest buried into the surrounding sands.

El 29 de junio de 1993, el barco noruego Betula, que cargaba cerca de 2000 toneladas de ácido sulfúrico, encalló en las costas de Michoacán y derramó su contenido en el mar. Veinte años después, solamente una parte de la nave queda, el resto enterrado bajo las arenas que lo rodean.
