Description
Also known as a Douter, a long tool with a cup type attachment at the end of it. Predominantly used for putting out candles. Aka the tool Lampwick is holding in the top left panel. The joke being Lampwick couldn't come up with a name for his daughter. so he just ended up making that her name. Since both words are pronounced the same. Aside from the word play i also wanted to challenge a trope that i saw on the Pinocchio tropes page. Where LampwickXPinocchio was the only ho yay pairing so i threw in some honest johnXgideon love child into the mix. Not only as a tempter to Douter, but as another stand in for another famous Italian story puss in boots. I also wanted to throw in the canary prince, but i ran out of space and had to settle on the prince charming line instead. Since i wanted to do a bit where Douter sent Puss out on a mission to bring her a prince, and being a cat just brought her a dead bird instead.
