i decided to spend the night looking for good liefeld drawings bevause i didnt know him until all the latest scandals on the web, everybody seemed to be against him and it got me curious. this one kicks ass and your colors make it very good

this is an old one so I should re-color it as to see what it could look alike now with my "upgraded skills".
as for Rob, well, it's been like this since the 90s. thing is, most of this hatred towards him comes from the fact that the industry needed a scapegoat as to explain why readers left the comics world. rob has difficulties with deadlines, unsolicited issues, anatomy troubles, etc. he was perfect for the haters and bad press. it evolved since several years now, people tend to respect the man (at least) if not the artist.
anyway, the guy made me love the comics thanks to the 1st issue he drew of New Mutants, back in the late 80s/early 90s, so I'm a fan since then.
and whatever some people might say/think, the guy is really cool and has a huge talent with his pages, tehre's something really kinetic in his panels, characters, something that despite some mistakes makes him a great artist.
and jealousy can be another reason for the hate he received. he was famous (and still is), rich, created lots of great characters (deadpool, cable, domino, shatterstar, shaft, barock, prophet, glory, supreme, etc.) and discovered several new/young talented artists.
for all of this, I'll be a fan 'til the end for sure

Liefeld drew a short story in Superman 165, alongside Joe Mad!, Humberto Ramos, Art Adams, and some others. the pin-up came from this period I think but isn't part of the story. I think it's a convention' sketch.

I miss Liefeld's Supreme & Glory, but it's good to see him draw my favorite DC character. You did a good job with the coloring. Especially the yellow colors you put on to the picture.
