Description The picture was taken at park in Zemun at Christmas Eve this Year. I was not very active this year so I have a lot of photos waiting to be edited or simply sitting and waiting to be posted.
That is an explanation of January picture posted in May...

I am not a religious person myself because I was not brought up that way, but I always felt that there was something truly comforting in lighting candles, especially for the loved ones who had died. My grandma used to say that light from the candles gives them light and warmth, and they know that we think about them so they will continue to be our guardian angles.

I think that people who believe have not so difficult time in life. Because they can find comfort in faith. I wish I could be one. This kid is lucky that way.

The intimate moment captured between mother and children is wonderful. And the writing 'just do it' on the child's hoodie fits very well
I am not religious either, I have more hope than faith But in the end it is not faith that keeps us going through the life. It is love, experiencing love, fighting for our loved ones, being rewarded with love. God is just the symbol of it.

I so much like the glance of the mother to her kid! Seems like she's instructing him how to put the candle in place

Yes, she was doing that. It was so nice to see such a thing in person. Most of my generation lost that part of childhood, because religion was not "popular" while I was growing up.

Though I am not religious myself, I would have probably been if religion was a "forbidden fruit" during my childhood

Yes, I know some people that have gone that way, and than did it too much.
When I think about it more maybe I do believe in something "above", I just do not like the church system. I do not like any system

I think about it a lot lately because a few months back it became really important to me to be married in church, and I did not know the reason. Maybe I believe more than I believe

I was too married in a church. We did it this way because we were young and we didn't want to upset our parents, mostly
If you ask me, if it was to get married today, I wouldn't. I would just live with the person I love

Yes, just live is lot more easier...
But, we also live on Balkans. Were traditions means a lot, if not everything. Vladmir and I didn't want big wedding (foremost for financial reasons) and our parents were not glad that we want celebration for 12 people. But, I liked the idea of white wedding dress, church and romantic civil wedding at the park on the lake. After everything I wanted to somehow mark the fresh start in my life and turn the new age.
