Description
The Mexican Grey wolf is the most endangered of the five subspecies that live in North America.Minnesota Zoo.
Wolves are my favorite animal and I particularily love their intense, intelligent gaze.

I love this photo. Not only is this wolf intensely beautiful, but this photo also contains another depth on top of what's seen. one can almost see what is going through the mind of this incredible animal as he moves, tracking something with his every sense and fixed solely on his target. The power built into its body permeates the work. These animals are as smart, cunning and powerful as they are beautiful and majestic.

Indeed! I think the primary draw is their social nature. We can relate to other creatures whose lives revolve around interpersonal relations. Wolves are awesome to watch.
