Finally! After many months, it’s about time I made a proper ref for him. I think his design has changed slightly since his last picture. I tried to make him look a little older and a little more serious.

For some reason, I’m not entirely happy with how Ark is drawn here. There’s just something about his design that I feel I need to change. Anyone have any suggestions, or do you like his design with the way it is?

And just as a reminder, Ark is not a Sonic fan character, he’s my own character. I know there’s probably some similarities, but I created him LONG before I became a fan of Sonic, before I even really knew who Sonic was.

Anyways, I need to update his info, so.... here it goes ;D

Name: He prefers to be called Ark

Nicknames: .... he hates nicknames, but people call him ‘Arky’ just to annoy him.

Age: About 20 years old.

Special skills: He has very quick reflexes and is very skilled in the martial arts and has been trained to the point of killing himself from exhaustion. He is able to use many weapons, but prefers using his spear. He’s also fairly strong and pretty fast. Another unique skill he has is his ability to heal others and himself. He does this by using a special gem in his collar which can transfer energy from one place to another.

weaknesses: When he heals others using the gem on his collar, sometimes he is forced to use his own energy as well, which can cause him a great amount of fatigue. He would also lose all of his healing abilities if he lost his collar. Ark is also very anti-social and quiet. He also has a bit of a short temper.

Personality: Like I said before, he’s very anti-social and quiet and doesn’t really get along with others. His determination is very strong and is usually willing to help others, despite being independent. He’s mostly seen as the serious type and almost never smiles.

Family/friends: He left his family long ago. Not much is known about them. He was also very close to his brother, but something happened that Ark was never able to forgive himself for. (I’m not going to say what it is since I’m planning on adding it in to my comic if I ever get around to it XD)

Crush: Although he’s very independent, he seems to have developed a crush on =berryhedgehog9246 ’s character, Heidi. ;D

Likes: Being by himself, climbing trees, practicing his combat skills, relaxing.

Dislikes: seeing others in pain, crowds, Radar making fun of him, freezing temperatures, people who talk a lot.
