Description Hey look! Traditional artwork!

I don't post many of these... mostly because they don't look nearly as good as they do in real life.

Anyways, this is my part of a collab I'm doing with ~bluemoonblade . This is her character Sparks the cat. He was a lot of fun to draw. ^^

If you need me to change anything at all, tell me! I can easily change it. ^^

But I hope you like it!

Wow Dream, you're really good at drawing in this style, too. You should definitely draw more pictures like this some day. Which reminds me, I need to start posting up more of my traditional pictures again one of these days.

Sparks here looks like a really cool character. I really like how you drew him. I love those golden-yellow eyes of his~

I think you should draw more traditional stuff again sometime. I'm just lovin' that style!
Yep, of course~! ^_^ And no problem! I'll have to try and scan my recent traditional artwork soon so that I can post them up in my gallery. ^^ I've done all sorts of pictures done in some prismacolor markers and colored pencils, and I've even got a few of them in watercolor. (I'm obsessed with watercolors. They're just SO much fun to paint with. xD )

You should give watercolors a try. It takes a bit of practice to get use to it, though, but it is loads of fun. ^^

It's nice to see some traditional from you. If you ever need some tips on how to make the scanned image better lemme know and I can note you a real good option I use. It's almost magical.

I don't really have much to say on critique, but if you want some opinion on the texture of shading, stroking with the shadows and lights really helps bring out the different textures. It can be tedious, but I say it's worth it.

Oh wow, it's a real suprise to see traditional art from you, and a nice suprise as well, I love it!

Everything looks so clean, when I do traditional art my scanner always messes the colours up and stuff XD

I love how you drew Sparks, his outfit looks great, I especially like the collar on his jacket and the shoes!

The pose also looks awesome and I love how his hands are in his pocket, it seems to fit him well, especially with his expression! I also love the lightning streaks on him!

The colouring looks great, I especially like the shading in his ears, the mix of colours looks really good there!

Excellent work Dream, I'd LOVE to see more traditional art from you in the future 8D

Aw thank you! 8D I'm sad to say that I don't normally do traditional art. It's something I need to do more often.

I know, scanners are horrible for that. XD The colour was messed up a bit when I scanned this, so I edited it in photoshop, but it still doesn't look like the original. D:

I'm glad you like how I drew him! And I'm happy the shading looks alright. ^^

Ugh, I hate that, that's one of the reasons why I prefer to do Digital art -_- But I still think this looks great anyway ^^
