Beautiful painting! The perspective on all the shadows looks absolutely perfect and they give the image such great character. I actually think the bright colors on the clock look great, it provides a good focal point for the scene. Really cool design for the architecture too, quite a unique mix of both modern and sci-fi.

As someone else who has made(and continues to make) the transition from ink and graphite to the inclusion of color, I would say that your experiment so far is a soaring success!
The clock is perfect in my opinion. It grabs the eye as soon as one sees the image, and then you follow down into the shadows of the city. This gives the entire image a sense of movement into increasing depth. You have created an incredible unifying feature in the smooth low saturation blue, as it contrasts so stongly with the detailed higher saturation orange section. All in all, an incredible piece!

thanks for your comment!

I used to like this one but I found that the pencil work was too much altered by the color. I finally found a digital color technique to keep the pencil details up through the color (pastel or color pencil like drawing)and I prefer to use it now.

You've done a great job of conveying the scale and vastness of the city! And the color scheme I think is nice and subtle; I love the rich browns and faded blues.

Sory, but I prefer your works b&w.
Of course colour version is great too and maybe that's just mine deviation as a pencils lover..

well done...for me personally cities are one of the hardest things to draw...its not just about a bunch of buildings, but creating a sense of environment...impressive!

Tu as raison pour l'horloge. Je me demande mΓͺme si elle n'est pas aussi trop grosse. Elle vole la vedette... je crois...
Chapeau encore pour la perspective, et la complexitΓ© pleine d'intΓ©rΓͺt de l'architecture. Epoustouflant !!!
