Description 16"x20" acrylic on canvas. A concept that i've been wanting to do for a long time and took me almost as long to complete the thing . Can you identify the images? *this is just one painting and not several cropped together*

Mostly inspired by how these places invoke mystery about how they were made and what they were for... as well as displaying their majestic beauty.

I love it. Historical places make for great art when someone interprets them right.

I really like these!! They're unique, yet well done. The one on the lower right looks really clean in comparrison to the others.

Wow Josh you are so talented! Just watched Ancient Alien show featuring Indonesian pyramids & and my mind is blown at the detail you capture. You have found your calling.

thank you so much! <3 It's really just a matter of patience and a steady hand ... when i first start out im saying "oh man this is coming out dreadful", but a few layers later im thinking "ok, well at least it looks something like what im going for". I dont know if this is the same experience for all painters, but it is certainly a process of trial and failure (always enjoyable though).

thank you Madgardens , i give you alot of respect for recognizing them all and that makes me happy that i painted enough detail for someone to do so . Its really mind boggling how even with our modern age technology we cannot accomplish many of those architectural wonders....

and the ones that we can, we cant do without power tools .. but then again few of us could feed ourselves if the lights went out ..
Only the stone remains .. I wonder what wonders have been lost to decay and decomposition .. I am not entirely convinced that Aliens "Extra Terrestrial" influence is the key either .. rather these may be the remnants of an earlier civilization of man with technology more advanced than our current state .. and all was lost to time and mother nature when the lights went out on them ..
