This piece has an enormous amount emotion. It has a quality guilt and emptiness. The colors that were placed added to the depth to the picture. I believe the perspective could be placed better. I was looking for view of a person, similar to snapshot of a memory. The view is too tall, some crop can bring the view of a regular human. Other than that technical view, this is an original capture and challenges photos of WWII eastern europe. Overall, this photograph should be herald as one of the most heart throbbing pictures. I would love to see more of these yet with a more human eye perspective.

Thanks for taking your time writing for this image I appreciate this, just to mention that I didn't quite understand the placement of the perspective you mentioned here? this was taken in an eye-view i wasn't lower or higher than the subject.anyhow I'm glad the image had an impact on you. Thanks again

yea it's a complex thing to explain. But i guess this is a simpler explanation. put the camera down and look at the scene with your eyes. What do you focus on? What is the image you see through your eyeballs then the photograph should correspond with that vision. That why i said to crop some the photo because i wouldn't see ALL that you know. but yea its just technical stuff. And, no problem my man.

how sad...its very beautiful. the sharpness of certain things such as the wires and the people really cut into the rest of the piece and the colour sets a really calm tone. This is a really good photograph.

I love it. The resolution/definition could be better, but I imagine the current look could've been desired. The buildings on the left are a bit hard to see due to the shadows, but that too could be a good thing. All in all, great!
