Personality:

Grown up as her big sister’s shadow, she somewhat becomes a bashful and introvert girl. She also has an inferiority complex because when she was small, her parents always compared her with her big sister.
Despite these, she is a gentle person and close to nature. At first, she maybe hard to approach, but after befriending her and gained her trust, she will care for her trusted friends and will try to help them whatever she can.
She is quite adept in martial arts because she was trained to be a warrior since childhood. This skill comes in handy, especially when she lives alone now. Perverts and molesters, beware!

History:

Houka comes from a far away land to the east known as ‘Takamagahara’. Born as a second daughter of a noble knight family of the Phoenix Clan. Unlike her sister who has a brilliant burning red hair, she was born having a silver gray hair resembling the color of ashes, which is believed to be a bad omen to the clan. Since childhood, she was always compared to her sister in every aspects, which she always lost. This is the cause of her inferiority complex.

Despite these hardships, Houka’s desperately struggling, craving for love from her family. Lucky enough, her sister loves her and cares her deeply. She also loved her sister, but deep inside, she is jealous of her.
She has been trained since childhood to become a knight, together with her sister. But deep in her heart, she despises fighting and want to be close to nature, thus to become a farmer. Her sister knows this and encouraged her to pursue her dream and will support her whatever she can.

Fate is on her side, she received a letter of invitation from the Mayor of Lucine, telling how they need help in rebuilding Lucine Town to its former glory. She saw a chance to grasp her dream to become a farmer and have her own farm. She begged her parents to let her pursue her dream. At first, her parents didn’t give her permission, but after her sister joined to persuade them, they finally allowed her. This was probably the happiest time ever in her life.

After saying goodbyes to her family and her beloved big sister, promised them that she will be back and become a great farmer, she then set sails to the promised Island of Paradise, to Lucine Town, pursuing her biggest dream with all her might. And so, her journey begins….
