There’s something about this painting that brings to mind a very calming, serene sort of feeling. Given the perspective we can imagine ourselves sitting on a small hill overlooking the countryside; replete with lovely little flowers, fields and trees of green and the gorgeous mountain ranges looming in the background.
The ranges have a nice natural flow to them, the clouds are well-shaped, the trees look nicely symmetrical and well-spaced apart, to say nothing of how they were drawn, and the pathways and flora add that real sense of vibrancy to the whole thing.
It sounds like the perfect secret; the only spot you know where you can have a picnic with family, or go out sight-seeing, or whatever you want to do, knowing that you and only you have found this place where you can escape the world, and enter a state of solitude. There’s also a rare moment where no-one’s using the bike track, which further adds to that feeling. A lovely little painting, and I certainly hope you can produce more work like this. Keep it up.

If I may be honest, the only thing it feels like the scene is missing is background human presence... something like a small figure of a bicyclist making a stop in the fields, or something like a small village or a steam-driven train far off in the distance. But that may just be my own biased opinion, because whenever I see or imagine or attempt to draw such lush and inviting landscapes, I want to put human presence in the background so that I can imagine how the scene would look from that viewpoint, with me actually present in it. Plus, when drawing vast plains, small human figures or small man-made objects really help to get the sense of scale across.

Nice painting. There is enough details to make out the object, but the scenery isn't clustered. The sense of distance and the lighting is nice too. It looks like a somewhat cloudy day with sunshine peeking out between the clouds.
