I just think it is weird how many variations I have seen of his hands when it comes to fanart of Snatcher or even him in game.A Hat in Time and it's characters belong to Gears for Breakfast. not me.

lol it's true, very funny! i personally go for 3 fingers myself, i think it looks the most balanced- but the canon 2 fingers is cute looking (just don't know how he holds stuff)

Maybe Snatcher holds stuff via telekinesis. He does use it in his boss fight to throw the potions... there is another theory I have but I hate it.

yeah, i mean seeing as snatcher is kind of a shapeshifter he could probably change them.
telekinesis makes sense, he's a magical space noodle after all, we don't really know WHAT he's totally capable of.

Oh no... the idea isn't isn't stupid, Nor is it cursed. What it implies though is CURSED since you don't know how many fingers he actually has let alone the size of the fingers because those ones are invisible.

Perhaps from a distance it looks like he is holding cheerleading pompoms but the closer you get you realize it's just his hands...
And they are covered with hundreds, perhaps thousands, of thin, writhing fingers that almost look like hair.

Nice. I like to keep my approach varied somewhat. I did draw his hands detailed with scales once... It was a weird adventure but it was oddly quite fitting.

I like the detailed scales version, but I personally like to keep him more of a 'whispy shadow', simple yet fun to draw.
