Made me think of the Shadow of the Colossus! lol I immediately opened the "Revived Power" soundtrack while I was writting this comment. Feels like dodging that scythe would be quite the challenge. Long distance, the scythe gets you. Close range, there's the CLAAAAAW. Looks pretty epic. Really liked the shading and having it emerge from the shadow of the character almost gives a metaphoric sense to the picture, of facing your own fears and how great they may look by comparison... Without ever truly leaving you or stop being but your own shadow (which I can see because despite its massive size, the spectrum is still tied to the ground and the Knight's own shadow).

Oh, que genial! Me gusta como el espectro surge de la sombra del propio caballero, como si el enemigo a enfrentarse fueran sus peores miedos y pecados, o como el espectro recuerda a la parca, supongo que también puedo verlo como la constante lucha del héroe contra la muerte, un enemigo inminente del cual no podemos escapar ni vencer, pero si podemos pelear.

There once was a man of a high esteem traveling a wicked world
His mission was clear, though no one knew it. Day and night he'd march along looking for monsters to slay, and mountains to climb, for chasms to leap, and danger to face. Every minute of his life he stood in the shadow of death, always just out of reach. At first death found this man to be tiresome, always eluding his grasp. Likewise the man found death to be a nuisance, always trying to get in the way of his life of adventure. But as the time past, as the years kept up their slow, somber march forward, the two found a sense of camaraderie in one another. However, all life must end, and so that man, who lived his whole life in the shadow of death lay down, waiting for his final breath to come. That is when death appeared to him, offering his hand not as an enemy, but an old friend. But death had decided something before he appeared before his companion, he had decided that letting such a man pass on was a waste, and so he made a deal with the man. He told him he may keep on living, if he would become his avatar on earth, his fleshly hand, the shadow of death. And so he agreed, taking firm death's hand, and the two became neither two, nor one. This is how the reaper fell into the shadow of a man.
