I decided to do one of those artist memes that was circling around in my friend group. I unfortunately do not know who the original person is who made the meme (UPDATE here is the original www.deviantart.com/vert-is-nin… ), but I decided to do it with my character Alston!This was a lot of fun. Also very very hard. A lot of these angles i've never drawn before or don't have much practice with, so I was really going outside of my comfort zone here, but I think it ended up looking pretty good! I'm surprised that I managed to keep him looking so consistent, haha.
My ranking from Favorite to Least Favorite:
Downwards 3/4ths (it's so good. The face is so iconic. he is so weirded out by whatever he is looking at)
Upwards Back (really proud of how this one turned out. Super hard but super rewarding)
Straight On (EZPZ. good benchmark for all the other ones. classic Alston)
Upwards 3/4ths (Also super proud of this one. surprisingly easier than i thought it was going to be once i cracked it)
3/4ths (it looks fine, but it also doesn't exactly look like Alston for some reason. I think it's the eyes.)
Profile (I really need to practice profiles more. His face shape isn't quite right here, but I'm also not quite sure how to fix it)
