Is there anything but lies?They never stop coming for me
Can truth exist,
Or is it as lost as I?
As the storm approaches,
Can it disappear?
Why doesn't it leave us alone,
I wonder as destruction rains down
How can Love exist,
As the Hate thunders in the distance?
So powerful and blind
Can the sunlight clear it out?
Can clean rain come down and wash away,
Everything we've done?
Is there hope in the dark,
Or are we forever lost,
Never to return?
Is faith in ourselves,
To save our own lives,
Enough?
I listen and wonder,
As the thunder crashes all around,
As the lightning scars the sky,
Is it to late to stop the end,
Or has the end already come?
