Contest entry!My theme was "what if.."
What if Darkstripe stopped looking up at Tigerstar and turned against him?
I mean somewhere in the book (forgot where) Darkstripe expected himself to be in Starclan so he didn't think that what he's been doing is wrong, He has just been following Tigerstar blindly?
Only Tigerstar has dead fish eyes bc he's still evil.
And Tigerstar is just so confused bc his closest friend turned against him hehe
I wonder what would happen to him

"Enough of this!!" Darkstripe spat, leaping upon his once good friend in a flurry of rage, pinning him to the dirt with his claws out.
"Darkstripe!" Tigerstar hissed. "What are you doing?!"
"What are you doing?! I can't believe I've just been letting you go on like this!! You've killed so many innocent cats, and I followed you blindly like a kit to it's mother! But I won't stand for this anymore, if you want to hurt any other cat, you'll have to get through ME first!"
Tigerstar's eyes were wide in shock. His best friend had turned against him?Β
"If you release me right this moment, I will still allow you to take part in my glory-"
"I don't WANT your glory anymore!!" He spat, raising a paw and swiping his claws over the other's muzzle. Tigerstar let out a furious hiss. He tried to kick the other off, but the dark tabby has more strength then he thought. "...Forgive me, Starclan, for allowing more blood on my paws..." Darkstripe whispered to the sky. "But the only way to end this tyrant's trail of death is to fight him myself."Β

This is very original! I never would have thought of making Darkstripe a good cat! I always hated him and thought him way too slimy and just... No xD

This is so awesome! I actually always wondered if Darkstripe would eventually turn against him like Longtail and Dustpelt did, while I was still reading Warriors.
