If you don't mind I would like to try my hand at 3D-ifying you lightsaber. Let me know.

hey thanks man! took a look at your gallery, very nice work! i'd love to see you do this one yes. as far as the details you mentioned, i don't know the technical construction of lightsabers, i was just trying to make it look cool. there's a button and a switch on the side, they might do something. and the jedi would be so awesome that they'd hold it on their belt with the force, without even thinking about it, like breathing, probably. you can make it technically accurate if you want. good luck! peace

Nice design, love it. I don't see a covertec button or d-ring, how does it attach to the belt or does it.

This is a nice concept sketch.
I can honestly say that this is one of the better
lightsaber concept images I have encountered.
It is not overtesselated with detail and kept clean and simple.
Have you thought of making it?
I recon it will look cool in brass and stainless steel or aluminum.

many thank yous my friend. i appreciate the appreciation.
i havent looked at this in a while. i still like it.
i made a quick 3D version from cardboard tubes just after i did this but i want to make one from different metals, like you said. i dont know how to work metals though.
someday, somehow, this vision will be realised!
