Applejack had a nightmare.A nightmare where she was called a disgrace by her family
The Pear come to relieve the Apple
It's actually "mother-and-daughter" version of the art with Applejack comforting Apple Bloom - with Pear Butter (the mom) comforting Applejack (the daughter)
My theory is that Applejack referring her friends and family as "sugarcube" comes from her mother who also referred her as "sugarcube".
Also, when making this, I wanted Pear Butter appear to be pregnant, but Applejack's head covers most of her belly.
