Description Number 4 of my 100 theme challenge: Dark
So convenient that I have a character named "Darkness" hu?

I always have a hell of a time coloring him cuz I hate having to fill in black and other dark colors cuz it's hard to make sure you can still tell where the lines are. That's one of the reasons I have him outlined with purple.

And yes, he snapped that tree. It probably wasn't that hard to do cuz as you can see it's dead. I was gonna have it burning but I'm not that skilled yet.

There is no other word for this dog.. DARK. Wish I'll never meet him in a dark street at night. You really made a great job!

Hmm, i just had an awesome idea!

Could i pretty please use just the concept of Dark? I have randomly gone crazy for a breif moment (my friend calls that side of me 'Evil Rico'. For example, once i was leaning against a wall trying to catch some Z's with some of my friends around me, all of a sudden a half eaten apple strikes the side of my face, i don't know what got into me but i caught the apple before it fell and launched it as hard as i could at the group of chavs in the direction from where it came, and shouted "WHO THE F**K THREW THAT? C'MON I'M ASKING A F**KING QUESTION HERE!!". Everyone went silent and looked at me, if someone had told me who it was i probably would have gone feral on his ass, i think i might have ended up being thrown out of school, fortunately my friends kind of calmed me down and i chilled out. I think i scared the s**t out of most of them then, i never got shit like that again.

Anyway, sorry for the really random long story, 'Evil' me hasn't come out in public since then, it really was messed up!

Well I don't mind at all what you do, even if you do create a 'evil' side of yourself. It seems everyone else has jumped on the bandwagon, so do what you like.

Oooo he looks fierce, his snarl is very menacing.
Great job on the coloring, I like how you defined the lines with a different color I might have to try that some time. Out of curiosity... what type of pencils do you use for coloring?

Pencils for the wolf, and crayons for the background.

Awesome job Ace! :3 And I know what you mean by needing to outline in purple...>.> Its one of the reasons black wolves are so hard for me...

And I did have a problem coloring them but I think it was because I draw the wolves to small (about 1-6 inches normally) so Im gonna try to make them bigger and see if it helps. ^_-

When I'm Darkness, I'm an asshole. Dark doesn't "work well with others"

And yeah, I used to draw wolves and other stuff really small, and when I started to draw them bigger, I always had a problem with size ratio, like the head was ether too big or too small for the body. Hope you don't have that problem. That's why I use that bubble technique before I start to draw.

Well I suppose he'd still be strong to snap a tree in half even though it was dead...I mean that thing must've been like five thirds of his body width or something right?

Oh well guess this'd be another turn on that "I destroy nature" thing just take out "for you" of the equation ^^

yeah it's pretty much that in a nutshell, they look like anubis des, long muzzle, slender bodies and BIIIG ears. Yours kinda looks like mine but mine are bigger and longer still XD

Darkness was done in colored pencils and the background done entirely with crayons.

Excellent work buddy, I like Dark's expression in this and his long fangs are a great touch to the intensity he's got in him.
If it weren't for the fact he might kill/maul me I'd pet him... but I'm too young to die.
