Description this idea originates from an conversation I had with timothyC of the shipbucket community about an perry class build for capabilities instead of size. due to the fact that many nations have ships of similar or slightly larger size and similar capabilities, but not with the 'shrinkwrapped' construction, that road was not that interesting to take. another point of view was the inclusion of the Mk 26 launcher and Mk 45 gun on board an 'perry role' ship.

the conclusion was that the perfect hull around that time that had enough space for both systems, was DG/AEGIS.

some time after that, after the perry was finished, I decided to start the research and drawing for this concept.

these are the main changes in specifications, estimated (normal perry):
- displacement: 6000 tons (4,200 t) full load
- complement: 200 (176)
- speed: 30 knots+ (29+)
- powerplant: 4* FT4 (2* LM 2500)
- GMLS: mk 26 mod 1 (mk 13 mod 4)
- main gun: 5in/54 mk 45 (3in/62 mk 75)
- main air search radar: AN/SPS-48 (AN/SPS-49)
- directors: 2 AN/SPG-60/STIR (AN/SPG-60/STIR)
- sonar: AN/SQS-53 (AN/SQS-56)

the original idea was to follow perry specifications entirely, but that was impossible when you already add ASROC and an dual prop. but, had the navy and government had an slightly different idea of what the perry should become (maybe at the cost of lesser ships build, which wouldn't necessarely be an bad thing ) I hope I have created an doable ship.
