Upon seeing the episode "On the run" and seeing the apocalyptic nature of project kindergarten. I am more than convinced that the Gem homeworld is irredeemably evil and can no longer be redeemed. They are hiveminds that must be eliminate frome existence Now I have justification to blow up the homeworld!!

Those things I theorize will just commence planetary desolation on Earth, wiping out all non gem life and reducing earth to a lifeless husk or hollow out the earth and cause it to collapse into itself thus resulting in planetary annihilation.

The Galactic war that the Alliance had been fighting for millions of years was not just a war. . . it was a struggle by all the advanced non gem races in the universe to prevent the Gem homeworld from utterly wiping the universe clean of Non Gem life.
