Crossover story between Sly Cooper and the studio ghibli film, "Castle in the Sky"

This still incorporates my "Precursor cooper" Concept.

In present day Europe, a mysterious phenomena occured in which many ancient stone structures namely the prehistoric megaliths glow an unnatural blue glow in the presence of an unusual storm system passing over France. The phenomena reaches it's climax when the island of Mont St michel erupts with a brilliant blue light that shoots up zenithward.

After the theft of a mysterious blue crystal necklace from the louvre. The Cooper gang learn of the whereabouts of an ancient floating island belonging to one of the great lost civilizations that predate the Ice Age. Only two Coopers were the only people to have seen the rumored structure. Henriette, the only person to have set foot on the island, wrote of a great treasure that lay within it's walls. A treasure far greater than the treasures of the Cooper Vault. Otto (who photographed the island) wrote of the wondrous advanced technology that kept the city afloat. The only true mention of this lost city is in Jonathan Swift's "Gullivers travels".

With the help of the Crystal, the Cooper Gang set off on their quest to find the city Laputa, in hopes of claiming the fabulous treasure within. However they're not the only ones. Consisting mainly of Mercenaries and a team of INTERPOL personnel led by Inspector Carmelita Fox, a newly commissioned INTERPOL airship is sent out to catch the cooper gang, but their true mission is to claim Laputa in the name of the French Government. However an even darker opponent has caught the scent of the Cooper Gang, their former member, and current fugitive at large, Penelope Mouse.

While the Cooper gang is after the treasure and Interpol after Sly's arse, Penelope is in fact after the technology and if not, the castle itself, for it holds a great ancient secret that she intends to use to grant her own desires. She follows both in an even larger airship than the one interpol has, crewed by her own hired underlings

Little does Sly know that on the way, many great secrets of Laputa will unfold before him, the true fate of a lost people will be revealed, and the whereabouts of Common Ancestors he and Carmelita never knew existed, will be unveiled as well as their ancestor's connection to
the city. And with Penelope and Interpol's Intentin, this will be a fight to save a lost civilization from falling into the hands of evil and vanity.

NOTES:

-This Version of laputa, although similar to the one in the movie, is going to be somewhat different since I'm combining several aspects from Gulliver's travels into it's lore to better flesh it out. Unlike the laputa in the movie, this Laputa will be still have people living on it (though only on the upper levels only).

- C (Sly's common ancestor) is no laputian, He's still lemurian, it's just that he and F (Carmelita's common ancestor) visited the placed and in some way helped the people there.
