This is a pretty interesting series. a small, red, wood heart (which is totally cool, by the way) in some black and white hands. Good natural lighting, strong use of shapes and color. It's really a very good shot!
my recommendations would be to add a light to the heart, so it stands out of the hand a bit. you could do that in camera or if you wanted it wouldn't be too hard in photoshop (if that's what you use

thanks for the mini critique! I will try adding even more contrast and see what it looks like, but what do you mean by adding light to the heart? Do you mean to brighten it or to make the colour brighter to make it stand out? xD

Is this better? I tried brightening it but gave up so I did contrast and saturation instead
