Description According to Norse Mythology, before the world existed, there were two extremes, Niflheim, the realm of cold, and Muspelheim, the realm of heat.  Between them was the great void, Ginnungagap.  After an unimaginable time, the heat and cold crept across the empty expanse and where they met, the first lifeforms came into being.  Nowadays, it is believed to be a metaphor for Earth's location in Sol's habitable zone.  Or we could pretend it's about copulating.

If you haven't encountered Darkzone shading yet, this is a passable example of it.  Darkzoning is like the Chekhov's Gun of lining techniques, if you draw a line, someone better get shot with it.  This is actually a variation of Darkzoning, with white highlights, which I guess we could call Taozoning (Tao is where yin-yangs come from).  Technically, using color is also an impure form of Darkzone, but then nobody looks at it.

Also a last-minute entry in Make Me Jealous ' monthly contest.  Join the next one so I can beat you at it.
