+ As many of you know, I haven't had a working camera for practically all this summer. (I still don't, actually.) I was lucky to borrow one from work and spent the weekend with it. It was such a wonderful experience getting film developed once again.
Twas the first time in 3 months.+ While I don't think sunset photos take much skill to photograph... I always enjoy the "thrill of the chase." Most of the time, I don't see a good sunset until it's already in its "setting" phase.
Meaning... I have to race against time for a good vantage point, hoping against hope that the sky hasn't passed its golden moments. It's exciting and photos such as this embody that. 
+ With all that said, here it is. One of the few shots I liked from this roll. Enjoy!

am drowning in the tonal ranges
the silhouetted figures
strangely familiar but
vaguely dissimilar
to any sky i've ever seen
and that's the beauty of nature, the nature of beauty
there is no
true clone
anywhere, in the world, though the sun is constantly setting
all over the globe
in timezones
in war zones.
i'm
amazed
at every sunset
at every sunrise
because as the sun dies
it is reborn
a little differently
miles.

Wow! Normally I pass off sunsets as cliche, but the colors here just made my eyes pop out of my skull!

wow I love hoe it seems like symetrical with the reflection and all. I also like how its not veyr detailed and leaves it kind of blurred, like how someone would remember it. Very nice peice indeed great capture.

You know it's funny, because I like the reflected sky alot better then the real sky. I don't want to over annalyze a simple sunset shot, but that tells you something doesn't it. Everything in the reflection if bursting with more color and filled with vitality, while the real thing seems dull and faded.

i agree with the ease of taking sunset photos.. but that doesn't mean everyone can choose the perfect time to capture such a beautiful event.. you monfreir, have done exactly this.. excellent capture, and good to see you got at least a temporary fix to ease the withdrawl

Oh my god..that is unbeleivably beautiful! Yet again I find myself wanting to paint one of your photographs. Would you mind too terribly much if I used it for a pastel peice? Those colors are amazing! I really like the contrast between the blackness of the trees and the colors in the sky and water. Amazing...

its nice but in the full view its too blury..
colors are good but i would crop out the bottom bushes and branches + the picture woulndt be so symmetrical with the horizon in the centre..
just my opinion.
and i'm sorry abt your camera..
