2P Hetalia: Started when Himaruya (Hetalia's creator) uploaded 2P wallpapers for the Axis trio, showing them in distinct clothing with a much grittier feel, supposed to represent the characters in an alternate color and design scheme like in a videogame when you and the second player (2P) choose the same character. Since then, particularly on Tumblr, people have gone crazy with this idea and tried to develop the world further, creating headcanons for the characters and trying to figure out how they'd work, generally coming to the opinion that they'd be pretty much the opposite of their 1P counterparts in terms of personality.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with this, but overall, it came it rather ugly~ Oh well. It's more practice. Here are some of the 2P!Headcanons myself and my brother ~Cherry-Jamster made for these guys:

2p!Germany

2P!Germany would have just a perfectly charming smile whereas his real one would be kinda awkward and forced only because he can't remember how to smile like he means it: so it looks like a grimace, but looks really sincere and his regular one is just really nice and looks good, but so totally fake.

If 2P!Germany gets really angry or frustrated, rather than raise his voice like 1P does, he'd lower it to a really sinister whisper that sends shivers up and down your spine.
He’s more of a cat person.

Oh, another thing, in terms of cleaning- I feel he'd like things neat like Germany does ,while Germany would clean up after you, knowing you'd make a bigger mess than if he made you do it yourself, 2P would make you clean it /sparkling/- and if you failed, he'd use your hair and head himself, grinding your face into his tiles and just making it hurt so you won’t ever make a mess again. He also wouldn't mind the blood too much, so while everything is sanitary, there are flecks of blood stained into the walls and floor and things.

2P!Germany doesn’t like to cook, but from time to time he makes himself pretzels-like awesome Laugenbreze not those bitty brittle things- cause no one can match 2P's pretzel making skills, but it really stresses him out and he only does it when he really, really, /really/ wants one.

2P!Italy

2P!Italy almost never closes his eyes- if he does, it's only to give you one of his loveliest smiles, and in the moment you’re so surprised/taken aback, he just lunges forward to slice your throat or something equally painful... Everyone, especially 2P!Germany and 2P!Japan, is super wary as a result.

Italy is super into hugs and kisses and physical contact overall, so 2P enjoys them too, except he hugs /really/ hard- and while his victim is pinned down, he gently traces his knife across the skin: not quite breaking it, but just enough pressure to make them nervous. His other hand, while still keeping the arms restrained, traces up the ribs to the heart to see how fast it’s beating, and if anyone tries to talk to him during the process, he'll bring the blade to the lips and press it down hard, but on the flat side with a quick shush. Then he’ll quickly flick it across the closest cheek, drawing blood, only to then kiss that area and then bounce away with a smile. ( Also headcanon: That’s where 2P!Germany’s scar comes from- it’s probably so defined because Italy keeps going there and making it deeper.)

2P!Italy measures his opponents strength before he does anything- if their weaker, he’ll attack and exploit them without hesitation. If the odds are against him and he’s going to lose, he immediately goes into white flag mode and cries crocodile tears until he’s either saved or the other nation is stunned enough he can make a move.

2p!Italy is super, super independent- to the point where he only follows orders he can clearly see benefitting himself and yelling right back at 2P!Germany and often taking his own initiative.

2P!Japan Headcanon:

2P!Japan has an unhealthy obsession with dangerous and oftentimes spiky things, sometimes going as far as disregarding his own safety to cuddle it. He’s particularly fond of cockroaches, and seems to have hordes of them living in the walls of his house. (reasons to never, ever visit him)

2P!Japan is incredibly paranoid and doesn’t trust anyone. Ever. At /all/. He seeks a voracious knowledge of everything around him in order to predict how and when his enemies will attack him and how to counter it, and he never turns his back on anyone. His constant paranoia leave him fairly irritable and suspicious of everyone, quick to anger and accusation. When he slips into his incredibly calm state he is at his most lethal and terrifying, because that signifies he has his opponent completely figured out and is completely secure in his odds of winning.

Termine a 2P!Italia y 2P!Alemania hace una semana, talvez mas, pero solo recientemente termine a 2P!Japon. 2P Hetalia es baseada en dibujos que hizo Himaruya ( el creador de Hetalia) de los personajes Eje machos y de la Eje y las Aliadas de Nyotalia. Mucha gente en Tumblr estan creando un mundo mucho mas oscuro que el universo original de Hetalia, donde los personajes 2P tienen una personalidad distincta a sus dobles del mundo 1P.

Desde que vi los disenos de la Eje 2P, simplemente tuve que tratar de dibujarlos... en especial Italia, porque ese uniforme... aaaaah... Bueno, este es un intento, feo y pobre que sea. Me diverti mucho con Italia, jugando en Sai, y experimentando en Photoshop con Japon y Alemania. Pero aun asi, mis dibujos necesitan muchisimo trabajo. Mas Practica, supongo.

Bueno, con la ayuda de mi hermano, creamos personalidades y algunos datos sobre el Eje 2P, que muy pronto, tratare de traducir al espanol por acaso a alguien le interese.
