For some reason, I really love how you colored Xie's face. The blood smears look awesome. : D Wow, I wonder how long he's been sitting there.. And if anyone else besides Syph noticed him.

Xie hasn't ever been referred to as male except in his appearance description in RAVEN so far. I know it's hard to read while already knowing the character from, say, Macbeth, or me, but try your best 
In a nutshell, 'I' use the male gender pronouns for Zy, Xei, Xie, Fleance, Flint and Sapling, that's just a personal preference on MY part. It has nothing to do with RAVEN.

Only Xei and Zy are referred to by 'he' at this point, and only Lucky and some kids call Zy by 'him' while most people will still call Zy by 'she'. Xie has been referred to as 'she' the whole time, aside from Ryuzaki asking people in Rawoh if they've seen a 'man or woman'.

great panel usage! i don't think i even need to mention the masterful crafting of expressions. something you seem able to do that i am not yet grasping is make pages amazing without use any script. bravo!

Thanks! I was debating whether to continue "comicfying" the story, or write it in text (which would be waaay faster) but I really can't put things (like the timing/pace) in words that I can do with images. I realized that most of the RAVEN is without script anyway.
