HOLY OMGZ I'M ALIVE. Okay, spammy comment. Anyway, this layout is taking me FOREVER, as I'm drawing new pictures for almost EVERYTHING.. so here's something to keep you busy for a while.
For the character profiles, (I'm too lazy to do them ALL, I have just less than 40 major characters combined) we have from left to right, top to bottom:
Ria (2002), Creation (2003), Zy (2003), Gwen (2003), Val (2003), Raven (2003), Ari (2004), Xei (2004), Xie (2004), Guy (2004), Lucky (2004), and Lance (2004).
And they're all holding up the oldest design you can possibly find. Or first design, anyway. Ria's is a really old picture, Raven's and Xei's are on lined paper, and Guy's and Lucky's are in pen
And poor Lance's is the most screwed up. 
Val's, Gwen's and Lucky's possibly scare me the most.. and Xeigle's too. And Xie.. um yeah..EVOLUTION!!! XD;;;

Actually, I think Xie still looks like that... His hair just got more "stylized" is all, methinks.
Xie has a very fluid personality with many sides. He acts very different in relation to who he's with. I'm hoping this will be more apparent in the comic later.

Actually, I'd say that's Xie's underlying personality (before being rejected many times over). He's been sulking for a while at present, yes, but he'll get over it.

Wow! It's always fun to go back and see how your characters have progressed X3 (I mean..some of my original sketches are...scary to say the least XD)
You took that fun feeling and put it all together here..it really looks great the way you have them holding up their own designs..Most people just put them next to each other!
Poor Xie looks like he's lost all diginity by showing a baby picture or something^^''..It's not as bad as he thinks - - I think it's cuuuute ^_^

It's really amazing to see how far characters can evolve. This was a great way of illustrating how the characters were verses how they are now and how they'd feel towards their original versions. Very cute.

Ria's in is the Fairietails 2002/2003 gallery, Creation is in other2003 or something, Zy's is in Raven2004, Gwen's is in the first version of Raven I took down, and that's it. I have a different sketch of Lance I did later in my scraps.

I really, really like this. XD Not only can you see how the characters have changed and developed, but you can also see how your artwork as improved!
Zy definitely look a lot older than his first designs, and I think it suits him better. And Xie looks more...distant? (Dunno how to put it XD) in his current design.
Raven looks as sweet as ever ^__^
I really like this, (...Yeah I already said that XD) It's original and really cool to look at! (*loves the little square effects behind the characters <3*)
And finally, I just have to have a giggle at Lance.

some of them still look the same, but then some also look REALLY different. x3 I remember seeing most of your old ones the first time.

Xie and Lance look so adorably annoyed/embarassed XD Although I can probably sympathise with Lance... that origional is scary >.< As I think a million other people have already said, the idea is really awesome. I don't think I've been drawing my characters long enough to try that. Plus they always come out differently anyway X.x However, I too have a lot of characters. Lesse... *counting* ... 105 in total. Jesus! O.O I never realised it was that many. Only 39 regulars at the moment though 'cause I usually only do 'dark fantasy'. *eyes comment box* I'm ranting, so I'ma go now -^_^- Nice art Achiru!

Ha ha.. you might have beat me, are they pretty developed? I have a small collection of fairie and pixie characters what only have a name and a quick sketch. No further development whatsoever XD;; They don't really count as characters as I've totally forgotten they existed O_o;

Eh they're all at different stages of development. I reckon I have roughly 70 that I've used often enough for them to be 'developed' characters, though I can never find good RPers these days so only about 20 are in use at the moment. I can't draw many of them though >.<

It must be odd to dig up old artwork of characters that you've changed so much. Old Zy was smaller and cuter. But I like the newer design for some reason...
