This is just a glorified snapshot really before we went out to the club that night (I later was crowned Gothcoming Queen, heh!), the theme was steampunk and I went with a sort of Bride meets the mad scientist kind of look. This is a sample of my make up and prop work. I made the monocle style goggle and I cannot express to you just how secure it is to my face. Removal of said item was hysterical if not painful.That is also my real hair, not a wig, and it was standing about 13 inches tall that night. I was easy to spot in a crowd, heh!

I adore DeVotchKa the band! And it was heavy on the brain when I named the "character". From what I found out, it's Russian slang meaning "girl" or "woman" made famous by Kubrick.
