As an ID, it works. There's no question.
If you really wanted to re-shoot and improve, here are some suggestions:
-Find a colour and stick with it. It's hard to tell if it's your outfit or not, but the red and white corners distract from what should be the main focus, your face. The pink is very dominant and that should have been your colour scheme. It would tie together the photo and make it less confusing to the eye.
- If the face is what you want people to see, don't cover it up with hair. I understand that you might have been going for a certain look, but the line of hair makes a weird line across the shot. Taking it out would really open up the face and create a lot more visual space.
