It was part of the "legends of tomorrow" blooper reel from season 2 I think.

That's the idea. I just haven't found the time to work on anything new, been way too busy.

I just understood how PS loads and shows GIFs. How each frame is a layer and with the Timeline window open you can see that each frame is just one layer shown and the rest hidden.
I reduced the number of frames to the minimum necessary to have an animation and photoshoped each one needed to make the growth.
So, I had to modify 6 out of 13 frames.
That's why tool was in quotation marks, it's just a technique that takes a lot of time.

I don't have photoshop, so I don't know what tool you used (I use GIMP):

What tool is that? Maybe there's a GIMP equivalent?
