Ahhh...finally got to ink our mighty Decepticon Nerf gun leader.
Suffice it to say, it was challenging to ink this piece since I technically had to change alot of stuff to the previous pencils.Though even with the inks, I admit, I don't think it's perfect (as art is a continual revisionary process like any endeavor). But, I'm satisfied with the result thus far.
As usual, C&C most appreciated.

Ah more than meets the eye!
Realy good, you've realy captured his chunky box like structure. Very remanisent of the cartoon series. The perspect too looked very difficult to work with though you pulled it off quite well. What referance did you use for this?

Thanks! Yeah, I really wanted to go with the old blocky style like they use for the toy box art. As for reference, I used the actual figure in hand.

Good choice. I dont realy think highly of the 'new' transformers as they louse that blocky feeling. But the whole blocky look came from the cheepy ness of the animation style of the 80's which in definition realy made the characters.

True, you make a good point about the more "classic" style which I kinda prefer, but the new style does have its merits. And I finally have a better understanding why the designers went with a more angular style--they designed them from the inside out, meaning skeleton 1st then they add the alt mode parts.

Hehe, yah I do like Cybertronian Megs as well, but I prefer his Galvatron scheme--makes a better batmobile.

He looks great, and other than a couple of parts where the inking looks off, I think it's perfect.

XP Cadavers are one of the many reasons that I wouldn't do well in med school. I think that overall, haveing to take care of injured bleeding people would get to me the most. It's just the blood... *shudder*
I mean, I've disected things in bio class, but if I had to do something like that and it was bleeding...

Thanks for the critique JetstreamX. I do agree that he's a bit on the stiff side, but I wanted to stay as true as possible to the original G1 boxart for Megs, which has him in a similar "standing tyrant" pose.
