This is how all the Xenomorphs came to be. if you watch the first Alien movie, you will see that theΒ scene where they enter the massive ship from Prometheus.Β You will also see the Engineer in the pilot seat.
I've watched the Alien series WAY too much not to notice this.

Black at first, blue in the movie and now you draw it purple, this creature has some serious canon problems...Β

I think they named it a deacon, which interestingly enough means servant or messenger in Greek which in turn was based on the word for dust cloud (as in the dust clouds kicked up behind a messenger in a hurry. Interesting as the dust cloud the explorers trigger in prometheus is silicon based as is theΒ exoskeleton of a xenomorph. Which makes me wonder if this is the birth of an aliens squishy endoskeleton.Β

I always thought that the Engenders saw the aliens that we know about but couldn't control them. So they make humans as a target for the artificially created aliens to test whether or not they are as good as the original. That's why we see one in the original movie cause the experiments failed and the originals ,which they were testing on to make the artificial aliens, got out.

I think the movie was pretty average at best and I didn't like the design they made for this alien, to me it looks like wingless deformed terodactyl and it's hard to believe this evolved into the original black alien. You did a good job of recreating the alien however.

I feel weird because my theory is totally different from almost everyone's. If we can agree that the Engineers made the Xeno as some sort of a biological weapon, which I believe was certainly the case as in Prometheus the delivery system was clearly artificial and made by scientists (as far as I know nothing naturally reproduces in glass tubes) I think this is simply an early creation from the Engineers before they perfected the Xeno, as is likely held on another planet. It was stated that there are other planets and other establishments, so this is either an early version, since in Alien and Aliens (later on the timeline) the aliens can reproduce with eggs. Regardless, I really want a a sequel because questions need answered.
