It was said that the Beatles didn't like George being called that much; still, I think he deserved the title. Whether they liked it or not, they couldn't deny that Mr. Martin gave the group a new direction, making them gain more essence through new compositions than the simple yeah-yeah-yeah.

Beautiful tribute to George Martin I am a big fan of the Beatles since I was a child .I have seen Paul, George and Ringo a few times in concert through the years. Sadly I never saw John I have seen Yoko, Sean in New York. Years ago I saw Julian in concert and John's 1st wife Cynthia at the Beatlesfest she was a very kind lady

I watched Paul's show in Rio in April, 1990 (it was part of The Paul McCartney World Tour) at the Maracanã Stadium, and George Martin's concert also took place in Rio, at the park Quinta da Boa Vista (October 1993). I don't think I need to tell that in both concerts I turned to be a teenager again!
