First successful attempt at a g3 custom. I attempted to paint her using the techniques that those repaint artists on YouTube, such as www.youtube.com/user/AkameruKa… use. Amazingly I've never seen any of them being used on a My Little Pony before. Regardless of how you feel about g3, the toys look a lot better when they're painted to look like real horses, agreed?

The base was a Sunny Daze. I painted her body with acrylics, shaded her hooves and nose with soft pastel, and colored her eyes with watercolor pencils and mica powder for some extra shine. The hair is Raincloud from Dollyhair.

Got another g3 coming in the mail right now. I plan to make a whole herd using every G3 earth pony pose. Then maybe I'll move on to Monster High dolls. Might be fun to repaint them to look a bit more, well, monstrous.
