When you model in SketchUp - do you use many extensions/plugins?

Hi there, I have mentioned plugins many times before. I use RoundCorners, sometimes Artisan, joint push pull, etc.. all of the typical ones most people use to save time..

I know the feeling life tends to do that to all of us ... I'm not sure if its your vray abilities or photoshop or some combination of the two but your stylized renders are looking better than ever. Also I don't know if you stream or not but if so i would LOVE to watch the process from start to finish! Also here check of my newest sculpt ! I think i'm finally getting the hang of zbrush and modo rendering!

You know id love to stream my workflow. Trouble is these days I seem to get things completed in dribs and drabs! I go through stages where ill just look at the model for an hour and fluff about getting nothing done, then another hour ill speed through something haha.. Perhaps I should sit down one day and make a model, then "remake" it streaming, so that its nice and smooth and friendly for all haha..
Omg!!! That dude is looking killer and certainly someone I wouldn't want to encounter in a dark alley!

well even if you just record and its not suitable for the masses I'd still power through it. It was actually one of your earlier videos describing ixlrlxi's method on youtube that got me hooked on sketchup for a long time. It was some really good stuff when zbrush, modo, mari, and maya were still beyond me.
I think thatβs the main problem with streaming art or a process people often feel like they have to process it in order to make it "digestible" for the general public but its not the general public that are really interested in videos like that its people like me.
I understand if perhaps you were talking about a program where there is already a large body of knowledge. Though for the sketchup there like probably less than 10 really useful videos.... I basically watched a select few architecture videos, some random crappy videos explaining how various plugins worked but basically two videos unlocked sketchup / 3d programs for me and that was your video talking about ixlrlxi's methods which made watching his 4 hour time-lapse video of modelling a car a little more bearable. Well that and some random pdf tutorial i found by him IN RUSSIAN I might add thank god for pictures. So just record your screen while you work though even if its like 6 hours long i PROMISE people will appreciate it.Β In fact you probably already have a lot of people who wish you would do it already COUGH COUGH ME!
PS make a funky car and record the process and Iβll sculpt a sexy mama to go in it hahah
