The rain was cold, freezing almost, but Matsuda didn't really mind. He liked it, actually. He wished it were even colder; he wanted to be numb, he wanted to be frozen. In fact, if he could just die out here, he would, except he figured Aizawa would hunt him down and bring him back to life just so he could kill him himself.
With a sigh, he stared up at the streetlamp above him. He'd always thought it was pretty how the gold light glittered off the raindrops as they fell from the heavens, soaking through his hair and running down his face.
"I don't care what Aizawa thinks," he mumbled to the lamp. "I should be dead. I should have died along with everyone else at the warehouse that day. It would be better for everyone if I were. None of this would be happening then. What am I supposed to do?"

I'm actually pretty proud of this one. Worked on it off and on for almost a month.

This is from a scene in my Just a Martyr fanfiction. (read here! [link] ) Even I'm not exactly sure when/where/why, because I haven't written that far in advance x) It's also kind of strange that the story takes place in January yet it's...raining. Oh well; it rained like crazy when the TF and SPK headed to the Warehouse, didn't it?

And yes. The words were written on the spot. They'll probably get inserted into the 'fic somewhere ;D

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't take this/use without permission. No, I didn't use any textures or brushes, so this is 100% mine. It'd be kinda stupid to ask you not to use this as any sort of reference... (Because I didn't use any) but if you do, credit would be nice.
