Oh, yeah! We have reached issue number 150! And, you couldn't let this go unnoticed, right?! As this is a commemorative edition, I chose a meeting that is very special to me! For many reasons:
Mostly...
- I particularly always wanted to see this meeting happen! I believe it has already been mentioned by some here and that many would also like to see this meeting!
- It's perfect for our 'Retro-Classics' label!
- It's a 'Classic Battle' label too! Imperial Guard finds direct reference in Legion of Superheroes!
- It is a rare crossover to see on the internet! Whether in montages or original art! I believe that the number of characters in both teams is a little frightening to join them in arts / montages ... But, this still hasn't stopped us here before, did it?!
- Has one of the most interesting comic book rip-off stories I've ever heard... In resume: Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Dave Cockrum, the original Imperial Guard characters were pastiches of prominent members of rival publisher DC Comics' superhero team the Legion of Super-Heroes. I know who created the Imperial guard he worked with #frankmiller to make those amazing #wolverine comics where he went to Japan and fights the #Daredevil villians the hand and if your guessing #ChrisClaremont you are right
